Inclined Setup

When using the slider and Arc II at an incline with the high torque motor (high speed motor not recommended), there are a couple things to keep in mind when setting things up to ensure a successful shot.

  • High Torque motor: You always want the motor at the top of the incline.
  • Arc II needs to be level at all times to function properly. To accomplish this a leveling plate or ball head is required and needs to be placed in between the slider's carriage and Arc II. See below for the accessories we use and recommend.
  • You might need to adjust the belt tension on your slider. If the belt is too loose, you will notice clicking sounds and slipping of the carriage. The belt can be adjusted underneath the carriage.
